Shrub End Road, Colchester will be closed between the hours of 20:00 until 06:00 on:

  • Friday 14th April 2023
  • Monday 17th April - Friday 21 April 2023

For the duration of the road closure, the 1A service will follow the looped route diversion after the traffic lights at the junction of Boadicea Way/Norman Way via Norman Way, The Commons, Heath Road, Straight Road and Ambrose Avenue (normal line of route). The 1A will continue past Prettygate Road along The Commons to the traffic lights at the junction of Boadicea Way returning to normal line of route onto Shrub End Road (towards city centre).

The following bus stops will not be served for the duration of the roadworks (in both directions):

  • Winston Avenue
  • The Huntsman
  • Leather Bottle
  • Church of Jesus Christ
  • Dugard Avenue
  • All Saints Avenue
  • Hastings Road
  • Wilkin Court
  • Walnut Tree Way
