Long Mead (part) in Stoke Gifford will be closed to services 70, 71, 72 & 72a between 07:00 and 19:00 on Saturday 6th August for resurfacing works.
and services 70 and 71 heading towards UWE when reaching the Abbey Wood roundabout will take the exit before onto A4174, turn right at the traffic lights into Coldharbour Lane and terminate to enter the UWE.
Services 70 and 71 heading towards Centre will operate the reverse of the above.
Services 70 and 71 will regretfully not be able to serve the bus stops on Long Down Avenue and Long Mead and passengers are advised to board or alight at McDonalds on Filton Road or UWE campus. Stops on Coldharbour Lane will also be observed.

Services 72 and 72a heading towards UWE will operate as normal to the end of Wallshut Wood but turn right into Long Mead onto Long Down Avenue to Abbey Wood roundabout then via A4174 and Coldharbour Lane to UWE Campus.
Services 72 and 72a heading towards Centre will operate the reverse of the above.
Regretfully the bus stops in Long Mead will not be served. All bus stops on diversion route will be observed.
