Update 21.15 on 18th September: it does not look like these works will now take place this evening, and buses have been instructed to return to their normal line of route as of 21.00.
Bedminster Bridge Roundabout will be closed in the northbound direction from 20.00 on Sunday 18th September through to 06.00 on Monday morning 19th September.
Southbound will remain open so buses towards Ashton Gate, Bristol Airport, Hengrove and Hengrove Park will not be affected.
Services 75, 76, A1 and m1 will divert from the end of West Street via Sheene Road, St John's Lane, Wells Road, past Temple Meads Station, Victoria Street, Baldwin Street and Marsh Street to Broad Quay/The Centre. The last bus stop served will be the Victor Road stop on West Street (near Tesco Express), which the m1 will additionally stop at on the diversion. The next normal bus stop will be Broad Quay/The Centre.
Apologies, but due to the road closure, we will not be able to serve the East Street, Bedminster Parade or Redcliff Hill stops.
Service 24 towards Southmead Hospital will divert from North Street via Cannon Street, Sheene Road and then as per above to Broad Quay. The last normal bus stop served will be the Dean Street stop on North Street. The next normal bus stop will be Broad Quay/The Centre.
Service 90 towards the City Centre will operate normal route as far as the Littleton Road stop, and then turn around at the roundabout at the end of St John's Lane, then go back down St John's Lane and as per above.
Buses will drop off at the following locations on the diversion: Sheene Road, by McDonald's/the car wash; Temple Meads Station stop T2 (on main road by pedestrian crossing).
Service A1 towards the Bus Station will drop off on the main road outside Temple Meads Station rather than on the approach ramp. Buses towards the Airport are not affected.
In the event of the works not taking place, services will operate their normal routes.
