The A367 between Odd Down Park and Ride site and the junction of Dunkerton Hill roundabout in Peasedown St John will be closed to services 172, 173, 174 and 379 from 07:00 on Saturday 19th and will remain fully closed until 06:00 (estimated) on Monday 21st November to facilitate emergency resurfacing works.

As a result of this closure services will be severely affected and due to the nature of the diversion that will need to be put in place, and all bus stops from Bath Bus Station and The High Street in Midsomer Norton will not be served.

Please allow extra time to make your journey and would advise if only absolutely necessary. 

All services after serving Bath Bus Station will be diverted to resume normal routes in Midsomer Norton.

Service 172 will operate its normal route to Tesco in Midsomer Norton then divert direct to Bath and will serve Paulton and the Highbury Road stop on the A39 in High Littleton in both directions.

Service 173 and 174 towards Bath will operate normal route as far as the High Street in Midsomer Norton then divert direct to Bath in both directions and will only serve the Highbury Road stop on the A39 in High Littleton in both directions.

Service 379 heading towards bath from Bristol will operate normal route as far as the Book Barn bus stop in Hallatrow then divert direct to Bath and will only serve the Highbury Road stop on the A39 in High Littleton in both directions and will not serve normal route between Paulton and Bath. 

Passengers can still travel between Midsomer Norton and Bath using the shuttle service which will start in the High Street in Midsomer Norton to keep the link between Peasedown St John and Midsomer Norton. From Midsomer Norton services will be able to pick up normal routes heading towards Wells and Bristol at the normal stops. No stops on the diversion route will be served.

The first shuttle from Midsomer Norton and Peasedown will be at 07:00 then hourly interval until the last bus at 22:00 on both Saturday and Sunday.

The first shuttle bus between Peasedown and Midsomer Norton will be 07:30 then hourly until the last bus at 21:30 on both Saturday and Sunday.

Outside of these times there will be no shuttle service.

Passengers who wish to board the shuttle bus can on either side of the road from Midsomer Norton until reaching the junction of the A367 and Bath Road where it will route along the A367 and turn left into Bath Road in Peasedown St John. Passengers at the bus stops Eckweek Lane, Keels Hill, Braysdown Lane and Red Post must wait on the bus stops heading towards Midsomer Norton.
