Instructions to redeem an mTicket code:

1. DOWNLOAD the First Bus App from your app store.

2. HEAD TO the ‘mTickets’ tab, then ‘Buy’ and select your area as ‘York’.

3. CHOOSE the FirstSingle Trip Adult ticket in the 'Single' category.

4. SIGN IN to your account or ‘Create account’ if you haven’t previously.

5. CLICK ‘Add a voucher or promo code’.

6. ENTER your code as above and click ‘Apply code’ - this takes you back to the previous screen, where the ‘Total’ should now be 0.

7. CLICK 'Get your free ticket’ - your mTicket will be issued in ‘Wallet’.

8. ACTIVATE your mTicket in your wallet when ready to travel*

9. SCAN your mTicket as you board the bus.

*Please note, some tickets have an expiration time after they have been activated (e.g. 5 minutes), therefore please ensure you only activate once you are ready to use.
