Travel Alerts
Walmgate - U1, U2 & 10
Due to a burst water main at Walmgate, services are diverted until further notice:
Service 10 (towards Stamford Bridge): diverted via Piccadilly, Stonebow, Foss Islands Road, then back to normal at Lawrence Street.
Services will use the stop on Piccadilly instead of Merchantgate.
Service U2 (towards University): diverted via Coppergate and Clifford Street.
Services will use the stop on Piccadilly instead of Merchantgate.
U2 using Clifford Street (opposite the court house) towards the university instead of Merchantgate.
Service U1 (towards University): diverted via Stonebow, Foss Islands Road onto the normal route at Lawrence Street.
U1 towards the university the additional stops are Picadilly, Stonebow, Morrisons and James Street.
Until further notice.
Yorkshire Water have advised that there is a considerable amount of repair work to undertake and the road is likely to remain closed until 06:00 on Saturday 13th April.
