Please note: Due to the Royal Visit to York Minster on Wednesday 9th November there will be temporary road closures in place. Please see details below.

As per tradition, the royal party will arrive in the city via Micklegate Bar, where an official ceremony will be held.

Blossom St/Queen St/Nunnery Lane junction will be closed between approx. 10:55 and 11:15. Traffic will be held on Blossom St, Queen St and Nunnery Lane until the road reopens.

Rougier St/Station Rd junction and Lendal Bridge will be closed between approx. 11:15 and 11:30. Traffic will be held at Station Rd, Micklegate and St Leonard’s Place
