Service 29: A361 Burrowbridge

On Wednesday the 15th of March, from 09:30 to 14:30, the A361 will be closed at Burrowbridge due to Wessex Water Works.

This will affect service 29.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

Towards Glastonbury

From Creech Heathfield, buses will be turning LEFT onto the A361 towards Walford Cross and then RIGHT onto the A38 towards Bridgwater. They will then carry on along the A38 Taunton Road, and then turn RIGHT onto Broadway and after the river bridge turning and then another RIGHT towards the A372 Westonzoyland Road. On arriving at Othery, buses will turn RIGHT before the Bakery onto North Lane, and then LEFT at the junction where they will resume their normal route on the High Street towards Glastonbury

Towards Taunton

From Othery, buses will divert along the A372 Townsend towards Bridgwater. On entering Bridgwater, they will then turn right onto Broadway and left onto Bath Road due to the closure of St John Street. They will then travel down the A38 Taunton Road towards Walford Cross and onto the A361 where they will resume their normal line of route.

Please note that NO buses will be able to serve any stops between Durston and Othery.
