From Thursday the 20th of April until Friday the 21st of April, 18:30 to 06:00, Bridge Street, Taunton will be closed for resurfacing Works.

This will affect service 1 and 28.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

Service 1

From the Flying Tiger on the Parade, buses will divert across the roundabout to Fore Street and then travel down East Reach. They will then carry-on round to Chritchard Way, then left at the roundabout onto Priory Avenue. After this they will carry on to Priory Bridge Road and resume their normal line of route at Station Road.

Service 28

Towards Minehead

From the Flying Tiger on the Parade, buses will divert across the roundabout to Fore Street and then travel down East Reach. They will then carry-on round to Chritchard Way, then left at the roundabout onto Priory Avenue. After this they will carry on to Priory Bridge Road and resume their normal line of route at Station Road.

Towards Taunton

From Station Road, buses will turn left onto Priory Bridge Road. They will then carry on to Priory Avenue and turn right and travel down Chritchard Way. Then they will carry on to the bottom of East reach onto Fore Street where they will terminate as usual.

Please note that NO buses will be able to serve The Bridge or Flook House in both directions.
