From Monday the 12th of June to Thursday the 24th of August there will be a closure along Fore Street and East Street in Taunton.
This will cause major disruption for may route in Taunton.
The following diversions will apply:
Service 4 to Lane Estate
Outbound services will not be able to use Fore St, this service will use
Stop J. From here they will turn left at the roundabout onto The Crescent. Then they will turn left at the end and follow the road a to the top of East Reach where they will resume their normal line of route.
Service 6 to Holway
Outbound services will not be able to use Fore St, this service will use
Stop J. From here they will turn left at the roundabout onto The Crescent. Then they will turn left at the end and follow the road a to the top of East Reach where they will resume their normal line of route.
Service 21
Buses will be turning right when leaving Castle Way. They will then take a left at the roundabout onto The Crescent, then left at the end where they will follow the road to the top of East Reach. Here they will resume their normal line of route.
This is on the outbound trip only, inbound not affected.
Service 29, 30, 54 and 99
Buses will now depart from the Tower Lane Bus Stop, outside of the old Bus Station.
From here they will turn right when leaving Castle Way then left at the roundabout onto The Crescent. Then they will turn left at the end and follow the road a to the top of East Reach where they will resume their normal line of route.

Taunton’s Park & Ride Service to Gateway
Buses will be dropping off at the Taxi rank bus stop as normal. They will then proceed to the Town Centre roundabout and then back towards Corporation St hen left at the roundabout onto The Crescent. Then they will turn left at the end and follow the road a to the top of East Reach where they will resume their normal line of route.
