Stafford Half Marathon - service 101 diverted

The Stafford half Marathon is due to take place on Sunday 12 March with many road closures in and around Stafford Town.

Service 101 will be affected as follows;

Please note that we will not serve the bus stop outside Sainsburys or any bus stop around the town centre 

Outbound between 0700 & 1500

Tenterbanks and Victoria Road will be closed, buses will not be able to access the Rail Station from Chell Road (Sainsburys), instead they will operate to the Rail Station using Queensway (past Asda) right at the roundabout, left Newport Road, right Station Road. 

The 1015 departure from Stafford may be delayed.

Inbound between 0700 & 1500

South Walls, Cope Street and East Street will not be accessible buses upon departing the station will operate as normal along Newport then continue along Queensway, left at the new shops traffic lights, Gaol Square then operate normal route to Hanley.
