Due to a vehicle obstructing Birdwood Grove, services are diverting via:

Seagull roundabout, Southampton Road, M27 into Fareham. 

Services from Fareham to Portsmouth are unaffected.

Due to the Stubbington Village Remembrance Parade,

Route 5 will not serve the stop at Stubbington Green.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either:

Ditton Lane on Mays Lane or Harold Road on
Gosport Road.

Route 5 will be on diversion via Gosport Road and Broom Lane due the Remembrance Parade at  Lee on Solent.

Due to the Remembrance Day Service taking place at the War Memorial on Marine Parade, and at Stubbington Green, route 5 will be on diversion.

Route 5 towards Gosport will be diverted from Ditton Lane stop on St Mary’s Road (Stubbington is closed between 1000 -1230) via: Gosport Road to Peel Common Roundabout then on to Broom Way to Lee High Steet.

Route 5 towards Fareham will divert from the Petrie Road stop stop on Grove Road via: Broom Way, Peel Common Roundabout and Gosport Road to the Ditton Lane stop on St Mary’s Road.
Alternative stops located at ether:

Ditton Close, Harold Road (Stubbington) or Petrie Road (Grove Road, Lee on Solent towards Fareham) Lee High Street Post Office (towards Gosport)

Civic Centre Junction, Southampton Closed - Friday 8th November for 7 Weeks

Services diverting via Western Esplanade, Civic Centre Road, Above Bar Street, Pound Tree Road, Vincents Walk, Hanover Buildings, Queensway, Bernard Street and back onto normal route.

Remembrance Day Parades and Services.
Gosport War Memorial Services, Bury Road.

Routes E2, 5, 9/9A.

Route E2 will be diverting via:
Gordon Road and Carnarvon Road in both directions.

Nearest alternative stops at:
Gordon Road / Bury Road or Anns Hill Cemetery.

Route 5 will be diverting via:
Stokes Bay Road and Anglesey Road in both directions.
Nearest alternative stops at:
Foster Gardens, Bury Road (towards Gosport) or Stokes Bay Sailing Club.

Routes 9/9A will be diverting via:
Jellicoe Avenue, Stokes Bay Road, and Anglesey Road in both directions.

Nearest alternative stops at:
Jellicoe Avenue or Bury Road.

(Jellicoe Avenue passengers please be aware that for the 9/9A services,
they will need to stand on the opposite sides of the road for each direction)

Route Diversion, Routes X4 and X5
City Centre, Monday 4th November for up to 7 Weeks.

Due to road closures in Southampton City Centre, routes X4 and X5 will not be able to serve the stops in Castle Way at WestQuay.
 

There is no posted end date to these works, so please check back regularly for any updates.

Brockhurst Road will be closed for three nights from the 13th November between 8pm & 6am. Service E2 will divert away from this area via the E1 route around Elson. This diversion is in both directions. The stops between Cambridge Road and Eastbourne Avenue will not be served during these times. Please use the stops in Anns Hill or Brockhurst roundabout. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works which are out of our control and may change at short notice.

On Sunday 10th November Horndean village will be closed for the annual Remembrance Day Parade. The road will be closed from 10 am to 12 noon. Service 8 will not be able to serve Horndean or Clanfield during this time. All journeys will start and finish at Cathrington Lane, turning round at Morrisons. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during this event.

Passengers will be able to board the bus at the new stop in North Cross Street.

Passengers for route 11 please be aware that;
both Alverstoke and Fareham services depart from this location, please check the destination screen on your approaching bus.
