From Sunday 16 October 2022, there will be timetable changes to the following services. Click on the links to view and download the new timetables.

Route Diversion, Route X4 Southampton Road, Portchester Precinct to Watersedge Road.
Route Diversion, Route X4 Southampton Road, Portchester Precinct to Watersedge 26th - 30 January.
2100 – 0500 each night.
Due to the overnight closure of Southampton Road between Portchester and Watersedge Road (M275 Junction), route X4 will be on diversion.
Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either:
Portchester Precinct or Clacton Road (in Allaway Avenue)
This diversion will affect the services in both directions.

St Georges Road, Portsmouth closed

Service 3 – Towards South Parade Pier
Diverting via Queen Street, Alfred Road / Marketway, Anglesea Road, King Richard I Road, Cambridge Road, Museum Road and onto normal route.

Diverting via Cambridge Road, Anglesey Road, Queen Street, The Hard and onto normal route.
Short Notice Road Closure. Route Diversion, Route 9 Grange Lane.

16th – 17th January.
Due to a short notice road closure, route 9 will no be able to serve the stops in Grange Lane (Williams Close).
Route 9 is being diverted via: St Nicholas Avenue, Rowner Road, Grange Road and Nimrod Drive in both directions.
Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either:
Frobisher Close or Grange School.

Due to a short notice closure of Clayhall Road at the junction of Anglesey Road, route 11 will be diverted via: Fort Road, Monkton Road returning to normal route at Clayhall Road.
This diversion will be for both directions.
The stops at Marks‘s Road and Clayhall Cemetery will not be served during these works.
Alternative stops are located at Alverstoke Village, or Clayhall Road (Junction of Gilckicker Road)

Due to the closure of Blackbrook Road, the following diversion will be in effect.
Route F1 towards Thorni Avenue will divert via:
From Fareham Railway Station, A27 to Catisfield Road, Highlands Road. returning to normal route from Hillson Drive.
The stops at: Gudge Heath Lane, Craigbank Court and Blackbrook Road, Margarita Road, Anjou Crescent, Abbotts Way, and Highlands Road will not be able to be served.
Route F1 towards Fareham will divert via:
From Hillson Drive, Highlands Road , Catsifield Road, A27 to Fareham Railway Station.
The stops at: Highlands Road, Abbotts Way, Anjou Crescent, Margarita Road, Blackbrook Road, and Craigbank Court will not be able to be served.
Alternative stops are located at either:
Fareham Railway Station or Hillson Drive.

Route 5 towards Gosport will divert via:
Grove Road, Broom Way to Fell Drive. Then return to normal route at The Community Centre Twyford Drive.
Route 5 towards Fareham from the community centre will divert from the community centre via:
Fell Drive to Broom Way, returning to normal route at the Health Centre.
Alternative stops located at either:
Lee Post Office, Community Centre,(towards Gosport)
Community Centre, or Health Centre (towards Fareham)

Service 8 - Drift Road
Due to Gas works, Drift Road is closed, services are diverted.
20/01 – 17/02 (24 Hours)
Services affected: 8
Diversions as follows:
Via Downwood Way, Hawthorn Road, Tarn Rise, Southdown Road and White Dirt Lane, White Dirt Lane where services willstop/start at Draycote Road.
8 - Drift Road
Service 8 - 20/01/2025 – 17/02/2025
Due to Gas works Drift Road, Cowplain is closed.
Services are diverting via Downwood Way, Hawthorn Road, Tarn Rise, Southdown Road, White Dirt Lane, around the roundabout back onto White Dirt Lane where services will stop/start at Draycote Road.
Industrial Strike Action (Saturday 11th - Sunday 26th)
Unite the Union have confirmed they intend to take industrial action on the weekends of 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26 Jan – Monday to Friday services will operate as normal.
**Please note that all services may be subject to change at short notice and passengers should check before travelling.**
- First Bus expects routes 2, 7, 8, 22, Hoverbus (H1) and the Portsmouth Park & Ride (PR1) service to operate as normal.
- A reduced and limited service is planned to operate on routes 1, 3, 5, 9, E1, E2, X4 and X5. Please see the table below for a summary of what will operate on these routes or see the timetable here.
