Route Diversion, Alverstoke, Clayhall Road. Route 11.
Monday 13th January until further notice.

Due to a short notice closure of Clayhall Road at the junction of Anglesey Road, route 11 will be diverted via: Fort Road, Monkton Road returning to normal route at Clayhall Road.

This diversion will be for both directions.

The stops at Marks‘s Road and Clayhall Cemetery will not be served during these works.

Alternative stops are located at Alverstoke Village, or Clayhall Road (Junction of Gilckicker Road)

Route 5 towards Gosport will divert via:
Grove Road, Broom Way to Fell Drive. Then return to normal route at The Community Centre Twyford Drive.

Route 5 towards Fareham from the community centre will divert from the community centre via:
Fell Drive to Broom Way, returning to normal route at the Health Centre.

Alternative stops located at either:
Lee Post Office, Community Centre, or the Health Centre (towards Gosport)
Community Centre, or Health Centre (towards Fareham)

Fell Drive, Lee on the Solent - Service 5

16/01/2025 – 17/01/2025 (07:30 - 18:30)

Services are diverting as follows:

Service 5 – Towards Gosport

Normal route until Russell Road, Fell Drive, Fell Drive / Twyford Drive around the roundabout after the Community Centre, onto Twyford Drive and onto normal route.

Service 5 – Towards Fareham

Normal route until Twyford Drive, around the roundabout onto Twyford Drive / Fell Drive, Fell Drive, back onto normal route.

Unite the Union have confirmed they intend to take industrial action on the weekends of 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26 Jan – Monday to Friday services will operate as normal.

**Please note that all services may be subject to change at short notice and passengers should check before travelling.**

• First Bus expects routes 2, 7, 8, 22, Hoverbus (H1) and the Portsmouth Park & Ride (PR1) service to operate as normal. 
• A reduced and limited service is planned to operate on routes 1, 3, 5, 9, E1 and E2. Please see the table below for a summary of what will operate on these routes or see the timetable here.

Cambridge Road, Portsmouth Closed Southbound

Service U1

Services to operate normal route until Hampshire Terrace then diverting via Hampshire Terrace Museum road, next roundabout onto Cambridge Rd where services to serve The University bus stop in the opposite direction.

Services will then loop back around to get to Kings Rd roundabout normal route will be resumed.

Due to Goldsmith Avenue being closed, the service is diverting:

Service 1 & U1 – Towards Fratton Bridge

Diverting via Goldsmith Avenue, Milton Road, St Mary’s Road, Fratton Road, Victoria Road North.

Service 1 & U1 – Towards Bransbury Park

Diverting via Fratton Bridge roundabout, Fratton Road, St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Road, Milton Road, Goldsmith Avenue.

Festing Road is closed, due to ongoing road works.

From the 11th of November until the 15th of January

Services affected: 1 & 2 

The following diversions are in place:

Towards South Parade Pier​:

From Eastney Road, Cromwell Road, St Georges Road, and Eastern Parade to continue until back on normal route.

Towards Milton Park​:
After serving Canoe Lake Bus Stop continue along Eastern Parade, St Georges Road, Cromwell Road, at the roundabout on Eastney Road take the second exit and back onto normal route.
