Emergency Temporary Route Diversion. Route 11.
Wednesday 2nd until Thursday 10 April.

Due to an emergency closure in Eastbourne Avenue, Route 11 will divert via:
Elson Road, Albemarle Avenue and Melville Road in both directions.

Passengers are advised that the nearest alternative stops are located either:
Fort Brockhurst (Both Directions)
The Glencoe (Both Directions)
Varos Close (Towards Gosport)

This closure is outside of our control and may change at short notice.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and advise passengers to leave extra time for their journey.

Southampton Marathon, routes: X4 and X5 Southampton City Centre.

Sunday 6th April 2025.
0700 – 1400 (or on completion of event)

Due to the annual Southampton Marathon Event, all X4 and X5 services will terminate at Woolston Link Road and depart from Fort Road Stop on Portsmouth Road..

No service will be able to serve the stops inside the city centre, including Southampton City Centre Railway Station.

Goldsmith Avenue will be closed for road works between 1 April & 15 April EVENINGS ONLY from 8pm each night.
Services 1, U1 & U2 will divert away from this area via the following route:-
Fratton Bridge, Fratton Road, St Mary's Road, Milton Road and return to normal route at the junction of Goldsmith Avenue/Essex Road.
This diversion is in both direction. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works which are out of our control and may change at short notice.

The following bus stops will not be in operation from Wednesday 19th March (09:00) - Wednesday 9th April (17:00)

Catsfield Road (NE)

Catsfield Road (SW)

A temporary stop will be supplied by the works promoter.

Route Diversion, North Cross Street, Gosport. routes: E1, E2, 5, 9/9A, 11, and SD5.
Monday 24th March, expected for 2 weeks.

Due to resurfacing works on North Cross Street, all services will divert directly towards Gosport Interchange from the Police Station bus stop.

Route 11 towards Elson and Fareham will divert via Creek Road and Spring Garden Lane.

Passengers intending to use the North Cross Street stop, should use the stop at the Police Station.

Passengers intending to use the stop outside the Medical Centre towards Elson and Fareham, are advised to use the alternative stops at either:
Sharon Court, or Gosport Bus Interchange.

The stop out side the Medical Centre towards Gosport, is unaffected.
