Great South Run 2022 in Portsmouth, 15 and 16 October.

Over the weekend of 15 and 16 October, the Great South Run will take place in Southsea and Portsmouth. Many roads will be closed during this event and all buses will be diverted at some stage.

Saturday 15 October 
Service 25 will not be able to serve Pier Road and Clarence Pier. Bus stops are nearby to access this area and the seafront. 

Sunday 16 October
Service 1 & 2 will start and finish at the City Centre and not be able to serve Queens Street and the Dockyard area. Service 1 will not serve South Parade Pier.
Service 3 will not be able to serve the Dockyard or the Kings Road area, and will divert via Grove Road South to start and finish at the Strand, Southsea. The 3 will also not South Parade Pier. 
Service X4 will start and finish at the City Centre shops and not serve Queens Street and the Dockyard area.
Service 7 & 8 will start and finish at the City Centre shops, service 8 will not serve Queens Street and the Dockyard area.
Service 18 will run a normal route as far as the Strand and will not serve South Parade Pier.
Service 25 will be the most disrupted route. It will start at the City Centre and finish at Devonshire Avenue operating vie Victoria Road North and Elm Grove and will not serve the Dockyard area or Hayling Ferry.
Park and Ride services are a good way to access the Portsmouth area and will start and finish in the City Centre.

ALL SERVICES WILL GET BACK TO NORMAL AS SOON AS THE POLICE AND OFFICIALS SAY IT IS SAFE TO DO SO. WE EXPECT ALL ROADS TO BE OPEN NO LATER THAN 4pm.
