Halstead Road and Ford Street (Aldham) are closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 7th April to Saturday 12th April 2025.

The roads are to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and are to re-open from 06:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure:

  • The 88/88A services will not be placed on diversion - but will likely experience delays.
  • The X20 service will be placed on diversion.

88/88A

The 88/88A services will be permitted through the road closure. Accessible bus stops will be served.

There will be slight delays to service, as the bus will require an escort through controlled works area.

X20

The X20 service will divert in both directions via Great Tey Road/Brook Road/Chappel Road/Swan Street/Chappel Hill/The Street and the A131.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Little Tey, Godbolt's Farm
  • Little Tey, Church Lane
  • Little Tey, Salmons Lane
  • Coggeshall, The Kings Arms
  • Coggeshall, The Surrex Inn
  • Coggeshall, Lee's Farm
  • Coggeshall, Colne Road
  • Coggeshall, Gurton Road
  • Coggeshall, Wisdoms Green
  • Coggeshall, Church Green
  • Coggeshall, Church Street Co-op
  • Coggeshall, Vane Lane
  • Coggeshall, Market Hill
  • Coggeshall, Paycockes House
  • Coggeshall, Nursery
  • Bradwell, Mill View
  • Bradwell, The Swan
  • Bradwell, Bridge Hall Road
  • Bradwell, The Dolphin
  • Bradwell, Cherry Lane
