A section of Ipswich Road will be closed for works, on a nightly basis, from Wednesday 26th June to Friday 28th June 2024 (between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00hrs the next morning).
Due to the location of the road closure - the 1A, 2A and S10 services will be placed on diversion:
Towards Highwoods
The 1A service will divert, after serving opp Brook Street bus stop, via East Street and Harwich Road before returning to normal line of route at adj Fairfield Gardens bus stop. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: Old Coach Road and St Andrews Gardens.
The 2A and S10 services will divert, after serving opp Brook Street bus stop, via East Street, Harwich Road and St Andrew's Avenue before returning to normal line of route at o/s Orchard Gardens bus stop. The following bus stop will not be served in both directions: Old Coach Road.
Towards Colchester City Centre
The 1A service will divert, after serving adj Longcroft Road bus stop, via Harwich Road and East Street before returning to normal line of route at opp The Surgery bus stop. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions: Old Coach Road and St Andrews Gardens.
The 2A and S10 services will divert, after serving opp Orchard Gardens bus stop, via St Andrew's Avenue, Harwich Road and East Street before returning to normal line of route at o/s The Surgery bus stop. The following bus stop will not be served in both directions: Old Coach Road.
