During the Easter weekend (18th April – April 21st), we will be operating to the following service levels across our networks:

Service 25 | Little Wheatley Chase, Rayleigh | DAILY road closures
Little Wheatley Chase, Rayleigh is closed for daily roadworks from Tuesday 8th April to Monday 14th April 2025.
The road is to be closed from 08:00hrs each morning and is to re-open from 18:00hrs each evening.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 25 service will divert in both directions via London Road (A129).
The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:
- Little Wheatley Chase
- Langham Drive
- Tendring Avenue
- Hatfield Road
- Falcon Close
- Purleigh Road

Service 88/88A/X20 | Halstead Road/Ford Street, Aldham | OVERNIGHT road closures
Halstead Road and Ford Street (Aldham) are closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 7th April to Saturday 12th April 2025.
The roads are to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and are to re-open from 06:00hrs each morning.
Due to the location of the road closure, the 88, 88A and X20 services will be placed on diversion:
88/88A
The 88 and 88A services will divert in both directions via the A12, Marks Tey Roundabout, Coggeshall Road and Great Tey Road/Brook Road/Chappel Road/Swan Street/Chappel Hill/The Street.
The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:
- Holiday Inn (towards Halstead direction ONLY - towards Colchester direction will be served)
- Jubilee Meadow
- Turkey Cock Lane
- Wood Corner
- Aldham Village Hall (Service 88A route)
- New Road
- Colchester Road
- The Street (towards Halstead direction ONLY - towards Colchester direction will be served)
X20
The X20 service will divert in both directions via Great Tey Road/Brook Road/Chappel Road/Swan Street/Chappel Hill/The Street and the A131.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Service 31/332 | Maldon Road, Danbury | ONE-DAY road closure
Maldon Road, Danbury is closed for roadworks from 08:00hrs to 18:00hrs on Sunday 13th April 2025.
Due to the location of the road closure; the 31 and 332 services will divert in both directions via Mayes Lane/Penny Royal Road, The Common, Bicknacre Road and White Elm Road/Hye Lane/Maldon Road/Southend Road (B1418).
The following stops will not be served in both directions:
- Danbury Eves Corner (towards Burnham-on-Crouch direction ONLY)
- The Avenue
- Runsell Green
- The Royal Oak
- Oak Corner

Southchurch Road, Southend-on-Sea will be closed for roadworks from Monday 7th April to Friday 18th April 2025.
Due to the location of the road closure the 21, 21A and Z3 services will divert in both directions via Queensway (A1160) and Southchurch Avenue.
The following bus stop(s) will not be served:
- Nicholson House
- Tyrrel Drive
- Southchurch Avenue Corner (towards Southend-on-Sea direction only)

Service 75 | Shrub End Road, Stanway | DAILY road closures
Shrub End Road, Stanway is closed for roadworks from Monday 7th April to Thursday 17th April 2025.
The road is to be closed from 10:00hrs each morning and is to re-open from 15:00hrs each afternoon.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 75 service will divert in both directions via Walnut Tree Way, Iceni Way, Paxman Avenue and Gosbecks Road.
The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

Sandon Hill (B1008), Ford End is closed for overnight roadworks from Thursday 17th April to Saturday 26th April 2025.
The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.
Due to the location of the road closure, the X30 service will divert in both directions via Braintree Road (A131) and A120.
The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

The junctions of Wickford Avenue and Halstow Way with Rectory Road are closed for roadworks from Saturday 5th April to Friday 16th May 2025.
Due to the location of the road closure the B4 and 1A services will be placed on diversion:

Service B4 will divert in both directions via Pitsea Road and High Road. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

1A
Service 1A will divert in both directions via Rectory Road. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
- Kenneth Road
- Halstow Way
- Elham Drive
- Throwley Close

The Street, Steeple is closed for overnight roadworks from 20:00hrs on Thursday 17th April to 05:00hrs on Friday 18th April 2025.
The 332 service will be permitted through the road closure. Accessible bus stops will be served.
There will be slight delays to service, as the bus will require an escort through controlled works area.

Service 370 | Church Lane, Bocking | ACCESS GRANTED
Church Lane, Bocking is closed for roadworks from 10:00hrs to 12:00hrs on Sunday 13th April 2025.
The 370 service will be permitted through the road closure. Accessible bus stops will be served.
There will be slight delays to service, as the bus will require an escort through controlled works area.
