Southend Open Top Bus Day Tickets – from 4th May 2024
Ensign Bus will be introducing a new open top bus service 99 from Saturday 4th May 2024, running between Southend Pier and Shoeburyness East Beach. The service will run at weekends and every day during the school holidays until September.
This will run alongside the existing Ensign route 68 between Southend seafront and Leigh on Sea, which has run for several seasons.
To provide travel opportunities for customers who wish to travel to Southend by bus and then use the open top services, First Essex will be introducing a day ticket which allows unlimited travel for the day on our routes to Southend and Ensign Bus open top services 68 and 99.
The tickets will be available to buy either on the bus from the driver or from the First Bus App.
The prices are as follows:
- Adult Day: £14.00
- Child Day: £9.00
- Group (4 people, maximum of 2 adults) £35.00
Tickets will be valid over the full route of First services 3, 20, 21, 21A, 25, 27, 27A and 28. They are also valid on the X30 between Chelmsford Bus Station and Southend.
