The Maldon Rotary Club is excited to deliver this year's Maldon Fireworks, set to light up the sky on Saturday, 2nd November, at Maldon Promenade Park.  Additionally, the event has a new headline sponsor and Brian Farrington, Chairman of the Organising Committee said, “We are thrilled and grateful to have a new headline sponsor.  First Bus Essex are on board for 2024 and bringing along one of their buses with families able to board and meet the team.”

Claire Beard from First Bus said, “We are delighted to be headline sponsor of this spectacular and well-loved community event which raises considerable funds for local Essex and Rotary charities. “

Safety remains top priority, and Brian Farrington said, “We expect to welcome around 7,000 local residents and once again grateful to have BBC Essex's Matt Mackay supporting the event, both in the lead-up and on the night itself. His involvement is crucial in helping us raise awareness and achieve our fundraising goals.”

Brian said, “We must also thank other major sponsors including, Maldon-based TFP Financial Planning, a UK top 100 company who support the event for a 2nd year and will be bringing along staff and clients.  We receive help from many local companies year on year including Borough Carpets, GSM Motor Mechanics, Advance Chiropractic, Heating Oil Direct and Events Factor Ltd, and we thank them for their generous support."
