Colchester Zoo welcomes First Bus as a corporate sponsor of their brand-new area, Dinosaur Realm!

In 2023, First Bus supported Colchester Zoo’s 60th anniversary campaign by dedicating one of our double decker bus fleet to the Zoo with a special wrap!

First Bus is keen to continue our support in 2024 and felt that an ideal connection would be with Colchester Zoo’s brand-new Dinosaur Realm experience. Therefore, First Bus has become an official corporate sponsor of the area.

Dinosaur Realm opened in Easter 2024 and has since proved to be a popular attraction with visitors of all ages. This location was ideal to link the bus with some fun dinosaur facts by showing size comparisons!!

Over the years, Colchester Zoo has worked with First Bus on a number of special projects helping to promote the local bus route to and from the Zoo. At the end of 2022, Colchester Zoo kick started their year of 60th anniversary celebrations by working with First Essex to rebrand one of their buses with special birthday theming. The branded bus is one of three buses that drive the No. 75 route, picking up and dropping off visitors right outside the Zoo. At the end of 2023, Colchester Zoo also approached First Bus to feature in their exclusive Christmas advert.
