First Essex operates the 320 bus service (part of the X20 Airlink) which travels through Coggeshall; a convenient route for students travelling from Braintree to and from school.

Service 320 (part of the X20 Airlink) - Braintree to Coggeshall

Annual:

Valid 3rd September 2024 to 18th July 2025; providing travel on Service 320 (part of the X20 Airlink) between Braintree and Coggeshall (Monday to Friday). *Please note. you will receive one ticket which will be valid for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Term:

Autumn Term: 3rd September 2024 to 20th December 2024

Spring Term: 6th January 2025 to 4th April 2025

Summer Term: 22nd April 2025 to 18th July 2025

All prices exclude staff inset days, bank holidays, half-term breaks and school holidays.

If a student travels without a valid bus pass they will be asked to pay the on-bus fare with cash.

Service 100 | Lampits Hill, Corringham | Bus Stop Suspension

The bus stop Fernside Close (towards Lakeside) is temporarily closed due to roadworks.

This bus stop will be closed from Tuesday 3rd December to Friday 6th December 2024.

Towards Lakeside - To board/alight the 100 service, close to Fernside Close, please use either Lampits Lane or Central Avenue bus stop(s).

Towards Basildon - Normal service. Fernside Close bus stop (towards Basildon) remains open.

Service S9 | Rowhedge Road, Rowhedge | Road closure

Rowhedge Road, Rowhedge will be closed for roadworks from Monday 2nd December to Friday 13th December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S9 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Rowhedge

The S9 service will divert via Fingringhoe Road and Rectory Road. The bus journey will terminate at the turning circle. Passengers will be able to disembark and board the service at the turning circle.

Towards Colchester

The S9 service is to commence journeys at the turning circle on Rectory Road. The S9 service will divert via Fingringhoe Road before returning to normal line of route on Old Heath Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Service 88 | Ronald Road, Halstead | Road closure

Ronald Road, Halstead is closed for roadworks from Saturday 30th October to Tuesday 3rd December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 88 service will divert via White Horse Avenue.

Service C6 | Church Street, Great Baddow | Road closure

Church Street, Great Baddow is closed for roadworks from Thursday 28th November to Wednesday 4th December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the C6 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Great Baddow, BAE Systems: Service C6 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Chelmsford: Service C6 will divert, after serving BAE Systems, via Maltings Road, Park View Crescent and Vicarage Lane. The following bus stops will not be served:

SUN 8th DEC 2024 | Service 25 | Shotgate Christmas Street Fayre | EVENT

Shotgate Christmas Tree Light-Up returns on Sunday 8th December 2024.

Southend Road, Shotgate will be closed to traffic from 08:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 25 service will divert, in both directions, via London Road (A129).

The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

Harlow Temporary Bus Station from Sunday 1st December 2024

Harlow Bus Station will be closing on Saturday 30th November 2024 due to the next step in the redevelopment of Harlow Town Centre.

From Sunday 1st December 2024, a temporary bus station will be opened at Post Office Road car park.

407/417	Harlow to Old Harlow	Revised Monday-Saturday timetable – Minor timing changes to reflect the move of the bus station. There is no change to the number of journeys provided. However, some journeys will depart a few minutes earlier than they do currently. For punctuality - the Monday–Friday departures 17:10 and 18:10 from Old Harlow will not serve Princess Alexandra Hospital and will instead terminate at Harlow Bus Station. Service 417 – departing Harlow Bus Station will divert and serve Princess Alexandra Hospital.
