On Saturday October 15th 2022, Axminster Carnival takes place, and will therefore impact the following X51 & X53 services:

OUTBOUND journeys from Weymouth King’s Statue:

08:39 X53, 09:37 X51, 10:39 X53, 11:37 X51, 12:39 X53, 13:37 X51, 14:39 X53, 15:37 X51, 17:25 X53.

INBOUND journeys from Axminster:

11:15 X53, 12:15 X51, 13:15 X53, 14:15 X51, 15:15 X53, 16:15 X51, 17:15 X53, 18:15 X51

OUTBOUND journeys will take the following diversion:

Bus takes normal route up Lyme Road towards Hunters Lodge.

Bus then turns left on to the A35, and then goes down the hill,

taking the 2nd main turning on to the slip road which leads on to the A358.

Bus then turns right on to the A358,

and continues along the road until turning left into Axminster Train Station.

INBOUND journeys will take the following diversion:

Bus departs from Axminster Train Station and then turns right on to the A358.

Bus continues along the road until turning left on to the slip road leading up to the A35.

Bus then turns left on to the A35 and continues up the hill,

until turning right onto Lyme Road,

and then continues its route as normal towards Lyme Regis.

We will be unable to serve any bus stops in Axminster, apart from Axminster Train Station.
