Weymouth half Marathon
The Esplanade for Weymouth half marathon will be closed southbound only.
16th March 2025, between 07:00 - 13:00
Services Affected: 2,4,8,10,12,13, X53
Diversions as follows:
Service 2:
Inbound services: From Jubilee Clock then via King’s Street, Commercial Road, Westham Road and onto King’s Statue K2.
Outbound services: unaffected
Service 4:
Outbound services: Dorchester Road, Manor Roundabout, Weymouth Relief Road, Jurassic Roundabout A353, Bincombe Bumps Roundabout, Littlemoor Road and Coombe Valley Road to resume the normal route.
Inbound services: Chalbury Corner Roundabout, Littlemoor Road, Bincombe Bumps Roundabout, Jurassic Roundabout, Weymouth relief road, Veasta Roundabout at Manor Roundabout, Dorchester Road continuing service 10 route until Jubilee Clock then via King’s Street, Commercial Road, Westham Road and King’s Statue K1.
Service 8:
Outbound services: Buses to use Commercial Road As termination and pick up point. Services continue along Commercial Road, Westham Road, The Esplanade, Jubilee Clock, King’s Street, Swannery Bridge, Westway Road and Newstead Road to resume the normal route.
Inbound services: Buses to use Commercial Road As termination and pick up point. Buses will then continue along Commercial Road and turn left onto Westham Road then turn left onto The Esplanade. At Jubilee Clock buses will turn left into King’s Street, proceeding over Swannery Bridge and turn left at traffic lights onto Westway Road. At traffic lights buses to turn right onto Newstead Road and continue normal route.

Outbound services: unaffected
Service 12:
Outbound/ inbound services: Buses to use Commercial Road As termination and pick up point.
Service 13:
Outbound services: Dorchester Road, Manor Roundabout, Weymouth Relief Road, Jurassic Roundabout A353, Bincombe Bumps Roundabout, Littlemoor Road, Chalbury Corner Roundabout, Preston Road, Overcombe Roundabout and take 1st exit to resume the normal route.
Inbound services: Overcombe Roundabout, Preston Road, Chalbury Corner Roundabout, Littlemoor Road, Bincombe Bumps roundabout, Jurassic Roundabout,Weymouth relief road, Veasta Roundabout, Manor Roundabout, Dorchester Road, continuing service 10 route until Jubilee Clock, King’s Street, Commercial Road, Westham Road and King’s Statue K1.

Buses to use Weymouth Train Station as termination and pick up point. Then via Swannery Bridge to resume the normal route.
Inbound services:
Buses to use Weymouth Train Station as termination and pick up point. Then via King’s Street and Weymouth Train Station.
