Service X53 - B3157 Burton Bradstock closure

From Monday 26th > Thursday 29th September 2022 at: 09:30hrs > 14:45hrs, the B3157 at Burton Bradstock will be closed due to essential roadworks taking place by Openreach.

Therefore, Service X53's travelling during these times will be on the following divert:

Outbound

Bus will depart from the King’s Statue and take the X53 route as far as Portesham. Bus will then turn right on to Portesham Hill. Then left on to the B3159, then left at Winterbourne Abbas on to the A35. Bus then continues along the A35 until reaching the Esso Roundabout at Bridport, bus then takes the 1st exit at the Esso Roundabout, then the 2nd exit at Crown Roundabout, then serves the main bus stop at West Bay as normal.

We are unable to serve ANY outbound stops between Portesham Village Hall and Marsh Barn Farm.

Inbound

Bus takes normal route as far as West Bay. Bus then goes back on itself and returns to the Esso Roundabout in Bridport. Bus then takes the 3rd exit at the Esso Roundabout and continues along the A35 until reaching Winterbourne Abbas. Bus then turns right on to the B3159, then right again on to Coombe Road. Bus then continues along that road until reaching Portesham. Bus then turns left at the end of the road, and continues its route as normal towards Weymouth.

We are unable to serve ANY inbound stops between Marsh Barn Farm and Portesham Village Hall.
