Fare changes from 1 January 2025
As you may know, the UK Government has announced a new £3 flat fare cap in England – which means some of our fares will be changing from 1st January 2025.
We’re also simplifying the way we charge our customers to make it fairer for everyone. You’ll now only be charged for the distance you’ve travelled, meaning single journeys will cost £1.90, £2.40 or £3 adults depending on the distance. Child fares will be £1.30, £1.60 or £2
But don’t worry – you won’t have to figure this out for yourself. By using Tap On, Tap Off, we’ll do the heavy lifting for you by working out the best value fare based on your journey. And no matter how often you travel, you’ll never pay more than the daily or weekly cap!
We’re even working with your Local Authorities behind the scenes to keep fares lower with the Affordable Fares Scheme so we can continue to offer a great value service that benefits both society and the environment.
