From Monday 29 January, Hilton Road in Stoke will be closed between the Hospital exit and Newcastle Lane in one direction at a time for up to 2 weeks, Monday to Friday.
During the first week Monday 29 January until Friday 2 February , the outbound direction (away from the Hospital) will be closed.
Service 22 will need to divert as follows;
Normal route to RSUH, then buses will turn left Albany Road, right The Avenue, right Hartshill Road, right Queens Road/Princes Road, along into Penkhull, right Newcastle Lane, left Harpfields Road then back to normal route.
During the second week Monday 5 February until Friday 9 February, the inbound (towards the Hospital) will be closed.
Service 22 will need to divert as follows;
Normal route to Harpfields Road, right Newcastle Lane into Penkhull, Princes Road/Queens Road, left Hartshill Road, left The Avenue, left Albany Road, then back to normal route.
Due to the diversion, we'll be running a temporary timetable that can be viewed below.
Buses will depart Newcastle at the normal times, but will take 15 minutes longer between the Hospital and Trentham, therefore all times from the Hospital onwards will run 15 minutes later. All inbound journeys from Longton will depart 15 minutes later.
