A section of Military Road, Colchester will be closed for roadworks from Monday 8th July to Wednesday 10th July 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S1, S9, 16A, 86, 174 and 175 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Colchester City Centre (inbound)

The S1, S9, 16A, and 174 services will divert, after serving Recreation Ground bus stop, via Roberts Road and Mersea Road before returning to normal line of route on Osborne Street. Bus stop opp Eagle Drive (on Roberts Road diversion route) will be temporarily served whilst diversion is enforced.

Towards Old Heath (outbound)

The S1, S9, 16A and 175 services will divert via Mersea Road and Roberts Road before returning to normal line of route on Military Road. Bus stop adj Eagle Drive (on Roberts Road diversion route) will be temporarily served whilst diversion is enforced.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

Garrison Church (towards City Centre only)
Lookers Garage
Mill Street
Military Road
Railway Station (Stop B only)

Service 86

The 86 service will divert, in both directions, via Mersea Road.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

Canvey Island Christmas Light Switch On returns on Friday 30th November 2024.

Furtherwick Road, Canvey Island will be closed to traffic from 07:00hrs to 21:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 21, 22 and 27 services will be placed on diversion:

Church Street, Great Baddow is closed for roadworks from Thursday 28th November to Wednesday 4th December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the C6 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Great Baddow, BAE Systems: Service C6 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Chelmsford: Service C6 will divert, after serving BAE Systems, via Maltings Road, Park View Crescent and Vicarage Lane. The following bus stops will not be served:

Shotgate Christmas Tree Light-Up returns on Sunday 1st December 2024.

Southend Road, Shotgate will be closed to traffic from 15:30hrs to 18:00hrs.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 25 service will divert, in both directions, via London Road (A129).

Rayleigh Christmas Lights Switch-On returns on Thursday 28th November 2024.

Rayleigh High Street will be closed to traffic, for the majority of the day.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 25 service (towards Southend-on-Sea only) will divert via the A129 and Eastwood Road (A1015).

To board/disembark the 25 service close to Rayleigh High Street - Service 25 will pick-up/drop-off at Eastwood Road bus stop (towards Southend-on-Sea).

Harlow Temporary Bus Station from Sunday 1st December 2024

Harlow Bus Station will be closing on Saturday 30th November 2024 due to the next step in the redevelopment of Harlow Town Centre.

From Sunday 1st December 2024, a temporary bus station will be opened at Post Office Road car park.

19/19A	Chelmsford to Harlow	Revised Monday-Friday timetable – morning and late afternoon journeys. Minor timing changes to reflect the move of the bus station. There is no change to the number of journeys provided.
407/417	Harlow to Old Harlow	Revised Monday-Saturday timetable – Minor timing changes to reflect the move of the bus station. There is no change to the number of journeys provided. However, some journeys will depart a few minutes earlier than they do currently. For punctuality - the Monday–Friday departures 17:10 and 18:10 from Old Harlow will not serve Princess Alexandra Hospital and will instead terminate at Harlow Bus Station. Service 417 – departing Harlow Bus Station will divert and serve Princess Alexandra Hospital.

High Street, Maldon will be closed to traffic from 14:30hrs to 22:30hrs.
