The entry/exit slip roads at Junction 22, A12 (Witham) will be closed for works, on a nightly basis, from Monday 2nd September to Friday 7th September 2024.
The road is to be closed from 21:00hrs each night to 05:00hrs the next morning.
Due to the location of the road closure, the 71 and X71 services will be placed on diversion:
Towards Chelmsford
Services 71 and X71 will divert past Witham and continue on the A12 towards Hatfield Peverel. Services will exit the A12 at junction 20B and then re-join the A12 - northbound direction. Services will leave the A12 at junction 21 and continue diversion via Hatfield Road, Newland Street and The Grove (circumnavigating the roundabout) before returning to normal line of route on Newland Street.
The following bus stops will be not be served:
- Freebournes Road
- Crittall Road
- Avenue Road
Towards Colchester
Services 71 and X71 will divert via The Grove (circumnavigating the roundabout), back along Newland Street and Hatfield Road before using exit slip road at junction 21 to join the A12 - northbound direction. The next bus stop will be Crabb's Lane.
The following bus stops will not be served:
- Avenue Road
- Crittall Road
- Freebournes Road

A section of Vicarage Road, Roxwell will be closed for daily roadworks from Monday 2nd September to Thursday 12th September 2024.

A section of High Street, Manningtree will be closed for roadworks from Sunday 8th September to Sunday 15th September 2024.
Due to the location of the road closure, the 104 service will divert (in both directions) via Long Road and New Road.

Towards Ambrose Avenue:
The 1A service will divert via Stanwell Street, Southway, Mersea Road, Napier Road, Circular Road North and Circular Road West, Butt Lane and Drury Road before returning to normal line of route on Shrub End Road. The following bus stops will not be served: St John's Street, Crouch Street, Maldon Court, Creffield Road, Ireton Road and Cambridge Road.
Towards Colchester City Centre:
The 1A service will stay on Maldon Road and then divert via Beaconsfield Avenue and Butt Lane before returning to normal line of route on Headgate. The following bus stop will not be served: Maldon Road.

The 75 service will divert, in both directions, via Stanwell Street, Southway, Mersea Road, Napier Road, Circular Road North and Circular Road West, Butt Lane and Drury Road. The following bus stops will not be served: St John's Street, Crouch Street, Maldon Court, Creffield Road, Ireton Road, Cambridge Road, Capel Road and Maldon Road.

Service X20 | A120 between Bishops Stortford and Braintree | OVERNIGHT road closures
Service update was amended on 20/08/2024 | Reason for amendment: The road closure end date has been extended from Monday 2nd September 2024 to Wednesday 4th September 2024.
The A120, between Bishops Stortford and Braintree will be closed for works, on a nightly basis, from Monday 24th June 2024 to Wednesday 4th September 2024 - from 20:00hrs each night to 06:00hrs the next morning.
Due to the location of the roadworks the X20 service will be placed on diversion:
Towards Stansted Airport
The X20 service will divert, after serving adj Tortoiseshell Way bus stop, via Pod's Brook Road, Rayne Road, The Street, Dunmow Road, B1256, B1008, Stortford Road, B1256 and Parsonage Road before returning to normal line of route.
Towards Colchester
The X20 service will divert via Parsonage Road, B1256, Stortford Road, B1008, B1256, Dunmow Road, The Street, Rayne Road and Pod's Brook Road before returning to normal line of route at opp Tortoiseshell Way bus stop.
The following bus stops will not be served, in both directions, whilst service is placed on diversion:

Service update was amended on 20/08/2024 | Reason for amendment: The road closure is no longer time constricted "The road is to be closed each night from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs the next morning." The road closure will be enforced at all times.
The Avenue, Wivenhoe will be closed for roadworks, on a nightly basis; from Monday 19th August to Monday 30th September 2024.
Due to the location of the road closure, the S1, and 87 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Harlow Town Railway Station
Service 4 will divert after serving Leisure Centre bus stop, via Third Avenue, Haydens Road, Fourth Avenue and Velizy Avenue before serving Harlow Bus Station.
