Due to the location of the road closure the 21 and 21A services will divert in both directions via Queensway (A1160), Woodgrange Drive and Lifstan Way.

Towards Wivenhoe - The S1 service will divert, after serving Lookers Garage, via Roberts Road, Mersea Road, Abbot's Road and Old Heath Road before returning to normal line of route on Whitehall Road.

Towards Highwoods - The S1 service will divert, after serving Grange Way, via Old Heath Road, Abbot's Road, Mersea Road and Roberts Road before returning to normal line of route on Military Road.

Towards Colchester, Osborne Street - The S9 service will divert, after serving The Bell, via Abbot's Road, Mersea Road and Roberts Road before returning to normal line of route on Military Road.

Towards Colchester City Centre: Service S6 will commence journeys at Hazell Avenue as normal before diverting via Paxman Avenue and Gosbecks Road before returning to normal line of route on Layer Road.

Towards Chelmsford City Centre: Services C8 and C11 will divert, after serving Chelmsford Prison, via Victoria Road, Victoria Road South and Market Roundabout before returning to normal line of route at Retail Market (Stop 1) bus stop.

Towards Maldon: Service 73 will divert, after serving Parkway, via Odeon Roundabout, Parkway, Victoria Road South and Victoria Road before returning to normal line of route on Springfield Road.

Towards Chelmsford City Centre: Service 73 will divert, after serving Chelmsford Prison, via Victoria Road, Victoria Road South and Market Roundabout before returning to normal line of route at Retail Market (Stop 1) bus stop.

• Boswells Drive (in both directions)
• Town Centre Tesco Store (in both directions)
• Parkway (Stop G)

A section of White Hart Lane, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 6th January to Saturday 29th March 2025.

The road is to be closed from 19:00hrs and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning.

Towards Beaulieu Park:

Service C9 will divert via Essex Regiment Way, serve bus stops on Regiment Gate and continue diversion via Regiment Gate and Centenary Way before recommencing normal line of route on Armistice Avenue.

Towards Chelmsford City Centre:

Service C9 will divert after serving bus stops on Regiment Gate and Armistice Avenue before diverting via Centenary Way (north-bound direction), Regiment Gate and Essex Regiment Way before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Centenary Way
• Goldenacres*
• Daffodil Way
• Mountbatten Way**
• Blacksmith Close***
  • * Service C11 will serve Goldenacres bus stop.

C10

Service C10 will divert in both directions via Essex Regiment Way and Regiment Gate. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
