Revised Services from 19th February 2023
From Sunday 19th February 2023, further revisions will be made to a small number of our services. This will include changes to some routes and services retimed to better reflect customer demand and improve the reliability and punctuality of services across Essex.
Route 16: Will no longer run and will instead be replaced by a change to the X10, which will additionally run via St Lukes in Runwell in both directions, providing new connections from St Lukes to Basildon, Chelmsford and Stansted Airport. Additional journeys will run between St Lukes and Wickford Station on Monday to Friday between 0600 and 0800, and between 1500 and 1900 with a bus every 30 minutes at these times.
Route 21/21S: The early morning Monday to Friday timetable will be revised and the two morning 21S journeys are retimed to reflect the time needed to complete the journey reliably. The Monday to Friday and Saturday daytime journeys which run between Southend and Leigh Station will instead extend to run to or from the Morrisons store at Hadleigh.
Route 100: Has a revised Monday to Friday timetable, particularly in the morning to improve the reliability of the service. Some of the morning journeys will start earlier than now to provide more time for the journey to be completed.
Route 300: The timetable is revised daily, with a minor change to the route in Chelmsford, allowing the route to run with double deck buses to provide more capacity on the busiest journeys.
Route 625: Will be re-routed between Rawreth Carpenters Arms and Eastwood Progress Rd to run instead via Rayleigh Station and Eastwood Rd / Rayleigh Rd.
Route 827: The morning 827 is retimed and will depart from Canvey earlier, at 0655, to reflect the time needed to complete the journey reliably.
Route X10: Will run to a revised daily timetable, with the service additionally running via St Lukes in Runwell.
Route X30: The daily 00.45 from Southend to Chelmsford will leave ten minutes later at 00.55 and extend through to Stansted Airport, arriving at 02.28. The daily 23.00 from Stansted will leave five minutes later at 23.05
