We wanted to let you know about minor adjustments to selected timetables this December.
First Bus is targeting improved reliability and punctuality throughout Greater Glasgow by implementing service updates for customers across the city and surrounding areas.
The services benefitting from the network updates set to go live on Sunday 10th December are 7, 7A, 31, 38, 38A, 38B, 38C, 38E, 57, 57A, 75, 206, 208, and 226.
We will endeavour to update physical touchpoints at bus stops as quickly as possible with the new timetable information. We would encourage all customers to utilise the First Bus app in the first instance, for the most up to date timetable and live bus tracking information.

201 - A725 Whirlies
A725 off slip to Whirlies towards East Kilbride.
To allow for road works on Monday 2nd December 20:00 until Tuesday 3rd December 06:00 A725 towards the Whirlies Roundabout will be closed heading towards East Kilbride.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 201 towards East Kilbride.
Normal route A725 and continue towards Mavor Roundabout and take 1st exit onto Kingsway A749 to Whirlies 2nd exit at roundabout onto Calderwood Road normal route.
Positional trips using A725 towards East Kilbride.

Woodlands Road is closed both ways for line painting. Services towards Broomhill to divert via St George's Road, Great Western Road, Park Road, Woodlands Road, Eldon Street, onto normal route. Services 4/4A towards Mearns/Eaglesham to divert via Eldon Street, Woodlands Road, Park Road, Great Western Road, West Graham Street, Charing Cross, Sauchiehall Street onto normal route. |
Woodlands Road is now cleared and services have returned to normal line of route.

Please note that we will aim to ensure our app displays the correct timetables, but ask that customers refer to this page in the first instance ahead of travel. We also ask customers to take extra care when travelling in cold or icy weather this festive season.

Night bus services will only operate on 28th & 29th December and 4th & 5th of January.

Service 77/500 - M8 Junction 27-28 Closure West Bound
Service 77 and 500 - M8 Junction 27-28 Closure West Bound.
To allow for road works on Monday 2nd December between 22:00 until 06:00 overnight the M8 Junction 27-28 westbound will close.
During the closure the following diversion will be in place:
Service 77 towards Glasgow Airport:
Normal route to Renfrew Road, Weir Street, Old Sneddon Street, Love Street, Inchinnan Road, Sanderling Road, Glasgow Airport access road onto normal route.
Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport.

M74 Slip Closure
M74 J6 off slip SB towards Motherwell.
To allow for road works on Monday 2nd December 20:00 until Tuesday 3rd December 06:00 the M74 J6 off slip South Bound towards Motherwell will be closed.
During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:
Positional trips using M74 J6 off slip South Bound towards Motherwell.
From Blantyre depot turn right Glasgow Road, Burnbank Road, left Almada Street, right Muir Street, Palace Grounds Road, Motherwell Road normal positional route to Motherwell.
206 - Round Riding Road
Due to the closure of Round Riding Road on Wednesday 27th November for up to 21 days, the 206 service will be on diversion.
During the closure, all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 206 towards Haldane.
Normal route to Bonhill Road at Round Riding Road, continue Bonhill Road, right Townend Road, 3rd exit at roundabout onto Stirling Road A82, left Garshake Road normal route.
Service 206 towards Westcliff.
Normal route Garshake Road, right Stirling Road A82, 1st exit at roundabout Townend Road, left Bonhill Road normal route.
Service 90 & M3 - Hawthorn Street
Hawthorn Street, Services 90 & M3.
To allow for resurfacing works on Thursday 28th November Hawthorn Street will be closed between 07:30 and 17:00
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 90 towards Springburn.
Normal route Hawthorn Street at Ashfield Street left Ashfield Street, right Ashgill Road, right Colston Road, right Springburn Road, take off slip up towards Hawthorn Street, left Hawthorn Street normal route.
Service 90 towards Partick.
Normal route Hawthorn Street and take outside lane and on slip onto Springburn Road, left Colston Road, left Ashgill Road, left Ashfield Street, right Hawthorn Street normal route.
Service M3 towards Springburn.
Normal route Hawthorn Street at Ashfield Street left Ashfield Street, right Ashgill Road, right Colston Road, right Springburn Road, left Atlas Road normal route.
Service M3 towards Saracen.

57, 57A, 87, 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B, 90 - Springburn Road at St Rollox Tesco Extra
To allow for Carriageway patching on Friday 29th November between 07:30 and 18:30 the bus stop on Springburn Road at St Rollox Tesco Extra will be closed.
Services 57 & 57A next stop will be Castle Street.
Services 87, 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B. Charles Street before Royston Road.
Service 90 Alexandra Parade at Royal Maternity.
240, 255 - Hamilton Road Mount Vernon
Service 240, 255 - Hamilton Road Mount Vernon
To allow for resurfacing works on Wednesday 27th November until Friday 28th November Hamilton Road will be closed between 09:30 and 15:30 each day.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 240 & 255 towards Buchanan Bus Station.
Diverting via Kenmuirhill Road, London Road, Carmyle Avenue, Tollcross Road and onto normal route.
Service 240 & 255 towards Mount Vernon.
Diverting via Hamilton Road, Carmyle Avenue, London Road, Kenmuirhill Road, Hamilton Road and onto normal route.
Montrose Street (at George Street) - 6A, 41 & 500
Due to cranage works on Sunday the 1st of December, Montrose Street will be closed at George Street between 08:00 and 17:00.
The following diversions are in place:
Services 6A towards Drumchapel:
Normal route to George Street at Montrose Street then George Street, Albion Street, Ingram Street, Ingram Street, Queen Street, St Vincent Place back to the normal route.
Service 41 towards West Regent Street:
Normal route to George Street at Albion Street then Albion Street, Ingram Street, South Frederick Street, George Square South back to the normal route.
Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport:
Normal route to George Street at Montrose Street then George Street, Albion Street, Ingram Street, Queen Street, St Vincent Place back to the normal route.
