The Y1 and Y2 services now run up to every 15 minutes into the city centre and a single ticket costs just £2!

Catch either service every 15 minutes between Bristol, Yate Shopping Centre and Yate Park & Ride (Monday to Saturday). The services still run frequently in evenings and Sundays with a bus every 30 minutes.

Whether you're using the services to get to work, do some shopping in the city centre or going out with friends, this is the perfect way to get into town. With Badminton Road closed for the foreseeable future, why not catch the bus and use your travel time for you!

With buses up to every 15 minutes between Yate and Bristol thanks to funding secured by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, now’s a great time to use the Y1 or Y2.

It’s part of the plan to improve transport for people across the West of England. We’re working with bus operators and funding more frequent buses, so that more people give them a try. If enough additional people start using them, the extra buses can stay in place once the funding runs out. That means a better bus network, less cars on the road, faster journey times and better air quality.

That’s what West of England Sustainable Transport is all about – WEST.
